<div style="text-align: justify;">
Mouse and <a href="http://www.getridofrats.org/rat-control/" target="_blank">rat control</a> is a lot easier than most people think. Preventive maintenance such as keeping lids on trash cans, eliminating entry points into your house and most importantly, sanitation, are crucial to controlling these pests. Uneaten pet food and piles of debris in and outside the house are havens for rodents. Sometimes elements outside your control, like having slobs for neighbors, or new construction in the area can easily attract rats and mice. So, when it's time to get rid of mice or rats, mouse traps and <a href="http://www.getridofrats.org/rat-traps/" target="_blank">rat traps</a> are the best way to rid your home of these nasty creatures.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Before you implement a rat or <a href="http://www.howtogetridofmice.net/mice-control/" target="_blank">mice control</a> program, it's always best to know the signs of a rodent infestation. Seeing a mouse or rat run through your garbage is an obvious sign, but more telling signs you have a mouse or rat issue are rub marks along walls, strong urine odors, gnawing and droppings.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
What to use for bait it also key. Most people believe cheese to be the best, but unless you're trying to catch Jerry, use peanut butter on mouse traps; Fig Newton's work great too. Using raw hickory smoked bacon has proven to work great for rats.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Below you'll find the best traps to kill and get rid of mice and or rats. Using traps, if positioned and used correctly, is the best form of mouse and rat control, especially if you have animals and or children.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
1.<span class="Apple-tab-span" style="white-space: pre;"> </span>Paper and Tray Glue boards - This is, hands down, the easiest and safest mouse and rat trap. Especially if you have children and pets. Just place these traps along a wall or in a corner until a mouse or rat comes along. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
2.<span class="Apple-tab-span" style="white-space: pre;"> </span>Mouse / Rat Snap Traps - There are many types of snap traps on the market, but the most common are the basic pull back and set style, and the all so popular, and very effective expanded trigger versions. The wider trigger paddle increases the catch rate immensely. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
3.<span class="Apple-tab-span" style="white-space: pre;"> </span>Auto Set Snap traps - These are great for the people who are deathly afraid of setting the standard snap traps. The easy quick set mechanisms make this trap ideal for the novice mouse hunter. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
4.<span class="Apple-tab-span" style="white-space: pre;"> </span>Bait stations with T-Rex - Basically a black box with a trap inside. Mice and rats never see it coming. The most popular bait box / station trap combination is made by Protecta with a T-Rex trap. The bait box acts as harborage and safe haven for mice and rats, and this style of trap plays a safety role when children and pets are present. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
5.<span class="Apple-tab-span" style="white-space: pre;"> </span>Tin cat - This trap acts as a monitor / mouse trap that uses the peel off mouse glue board by Catchmaster. Widely used in used food packing plants and stores, but can easily be used in your home. Tin cats are enclosed which helps you to avoid have the rodent being stuck to an exposed glue board. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
6.<span class="Apple-tab-span" style="white-space: pre;"> </span>Ketch-All wind up - A wind up multi catch trap that doesn't kill, at least most of the time. Mice crawl into an opening and the spinning paddle swoops them into a holding cell.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
7.<span class="Apple-tab-span" style="white-space: pre;"> </span>Live trap - A lot like the Ketch-All, a live trap is a lot smaller version of standard live cat and dog traps. A Fig Newton or peanut butter in the back behind the trigger plate does the trick every time. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
8.<span class="Apple-tab-span" style="white-space: pre;"> </span>Cube Tilt Trap - A cube trap is a gravity trap with a door on one end. When the mouse enters, the cube tilts causing the door to close. Peanut butter at the back of the tube works great. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
9.<span class="Apple-tab-span" style="white-space: pre;"> </span>Electric Trap - This trap speaks for itself. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
10.<span class="Apple-tab-span" style="white-space: pre;"> </span>Homemade - This is for the guy who wants to make a better mouse / rat trap, or wants to try something different. The most common is the 5 gallon bucket and soda can with wire stretched across the top. Don't forget to place the board on the lip of the bucket (AKA plank), before you send the local mice and rat populations to their death.</div>

A cat can really be a big help for anybody who does not want to see mice or rats in their homes. However, a single cat cannot control the growth of mice or even the formation of their colony. Aside from the cat, you would need <a href="http://www.howtogetridofmice.net/mice-control/" target="_blank">mice control</a> methods so that those mice will not turn into a community and take over your home. It is important that you know how to handle mice problems so that it will not grow and develop and further give you headaches. Getting rid of a single mouse can help in preventing a big community of mice to be formed. Here are some of the methods that you can make use of for effective mouse control.<br />
<br />
First, get to where the mice came from. This means that you need to find the entry point of the mice in your house. With this, you may be looking for holes, big cracks or splits where even small mice can pass through. You may have to cover up these holes, cracks and splits so that no further mice can go through it. By doing this, you will only have to deal with the mice that are already inside your home.<br />
<br />
If you are seeing a few mice around, you can actually make use of traps or baits. The mouse trap that is commonly seen is those that have flaps that traps and kills the mouse once it gets near it. This type of trap can kill a single mouse. On the other hand, if you wish to kill or trap several of them, you can then make use of the chemical baits. These appear like food for the mice when it is coated with chemicals that can have them killed. You can actually spread a few in the corners of your home especially during nighttime when the kids are already sleeping. You will be surprised with how many rats can get killed by simply taking in this kind of chemical. This type of method can help kill several mice. It is just important that you carefully use this as it can harm children and even adults.<br />
<br />
Another effective method for <a href="http://www.howtogetridofmice.net/mouse-control-types/" target="_blank">mouse control</a> is to have all the parts and corners of your home and property cleaned and dried. Keeping the place clean will definitely get rid of the mice as these creatures love to stay in dirty and damp areas. To prevent them from finding your place attractive, maintain cleanliness and make sure that you do not leave anything that they will find enticing to eat unprotected. Do not leave left over on your table or in the kitchen. Make sure that you dispose of them immediately or keep them protected by having covers or keeping them in plastic containers.<br />
<br />
You may also purchase gadgets or tools that can help you maintain your mice-free environment from rodent experts. There are now so many companies that would like to offer their assistance to people who are having troubles and problems about mice and other types of rodents. You can simply consult their expertise so that you can have a home without mice. Go over the internet or your phone-book to find an expert that can help you out with this concern.<br />

Hazardous waste is one of the most harmful by-products of the Industrial Revolution.<br />
<br />
No doubt, humankind's increasing mastery of natural law has resulted in increased life expectancy and a higher quality of life for more people than ever known before it has also brought the risk of global disasters and impairment of human health. Many of the environmental problems we are dealing with today are an accumulation of 200-plus years of inappropriately managing the residuals of our industrial output. Past practices have resulted in tens of thousands of contaminated sites in the United States and, in proportion to industrial output, elsewhere in the world. The global cost of restoring these sites to minimally acceptable levels will eventually run into the hundreds of billions of dollars. In addition, we are facing the cost of dealing with current and future production and use of products in such a way that they do not impair the environment or human health now or in the future.<br />
<br />
What are the sources of hazardous waste? Most people associate the generation of hazardous waste with large chemical plants. While chemical manufacturing industry represents a large source, chemical users also cumulatively produce far more. Analytical laboratories at research and educational institutions and even common households generate hazardous waste. A wide range of household products, when discarded, have the characteristics of hazardous waste. Pesticides, paint products, household cleaners, hobby chemicals, and automotive products frequently contain hazardous substances. Some local and state governments have implemented programs to educate the public about household hazardous waste and to operate waste collection programs.<br />
<br />
In Europe and in the United States, beginning in the 1980s, and gathering pace through the 1990s, efforts have been made to collect household hazardous waste separately so it could be treated with other hazardous waste. Extensive systems for separate collection are well established in most western countries.<br />
<br />
Consumers use many products that contain hazardous materials. A partial list of such products divided into general categories includes the following:<br />
<br />
Household cleaners: bleach, ammonia, disinfectants, drain opener, furniture polish and wax, oven cleaner, spot remover<br />
<br />
Laundry products: laundry detergent, fabric softener, bleach, perchloroethylene<br />
<br />
Lawn and garden products: fertilizer, pesticides, herbicides, gasoline, oil<br />
<br />
Home maintenance products: paint, paint thinner, stains, varnish, adhesives, caulk<br />
<br />
Pesticides: insecticide, mothballs, pet spray and dip, rat and <a href="http://www.howtogetridofmice.net/mouse-poison/" target="_blank">mouse poison</a>, weed killer, disinfectant, flea collars, insect repellent<br />
<br />
Health and beauty products: hairspray, hair remover, fingernail polish, fingernail polish remover, hair coloring products, cosmetic, medications<br />
<br />
Automotive products: antifreeze, brake fluid, car wax and cleaners, gasoline, oil filters, transmission fluid, wind shield washer fluid, lead-acid batteries, tires<br />
<br />
Other: charcoal briquettes, lighter fluid aerosol cans, art and craft materials, lighter fluid, pool chemicals, shoe polish, batteries, electronic components, light bulbs,<br />
<br />
Many of these products represent toxic sources and potential impacts on the environment. The risks of pesticide use in the home are relatively large. Between 1981 and 1990, on average 20,000 pesticide exposures a year were reported in emergency rooms throughout the United States, with 82% of those reportedly due to exposure in the home.<br />
<br />
Furthermore, many of these products may end up in domestic garbage, collected in disposal bins and placed in landfills. When this happens, the toxic materials represent an additional hazard as they may leach into groundwater and render it unsafe for consumption.<br />
<br />
Hazardous wastes must be disposed of properly to prevent harm to human health and safety, and to the environment.<br />
<br />
The Environmental Protection Agencies strive to protect human health and the environment through collaboration with communities, public organizations and private junk removal and disposal bin rental companies, and by so doing, keep our cities and suburbs healthy and beautiful.<br />
<br />
The local Environmental Protection Agencies elaborate Hazardous Waste Management Programs and are responsible for providing advice on policy and standards for handling hazardous wastes as reflected in the Hazardous Waste Regulation Guide.<br />

Dumpster Rental Cooperative provided this article as part of their community education effort.<br />

It was truly a sight not worth remembering. The mice were feasting on our leftover foods that I have inadvertently forgotten to remove from the table. We have just finished our dinner when we heard loud commotion coming from the outside. We all stood quickly and went outside to investigate. From where we stand, approximately two blocks away from us, we could clearly see a raging fire coming from that direction. Although the fire was too far from, the location of the inferno is more or less very near where my parents live.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgOBJRz1EQ3H0C31Zkofw-5MZ1eVxa5PoLb2aHBeEG9tO7RYKRlGM0peTKD78MT3zgrXPcb7cGG182VMlpsiP0rBtdew_DJn4u-ZsrgHkelc80522xPQlYeR5NIq825MPlKu2zZP71VjQ/s1600/001.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgOBJRz1EQ3H0C31Zkofw-5MZ1eVxa5PoLb2aHBeEG9tO7RYKRlGM0peTKD78MT3zgrXPcb7cGG182VMlpsiP0rBtdew_DJn4u-ZsrgHkelc80522xPQlYeR5NIq825MPlKu2zZP71VjQ/s400/001.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<br />
The proximity of the house to my parent unquestionably made us fear for their safety. Keeping our growing nervousness in check, we locked up the house and hastily rushed to where the fire was. When we reached the area, we were very much relieved to see that my parent's home is a bit far from where the fire is. They are still in the danger zone, and as we approached, we saw them all gathered outside their house with most of their belongings packed up and ready for evacuation. Thankfully, soon after the fire broke out, the fire department responded immediately. Happily the fire has been contained almost immediately preventing further damage. It was just a matter of time before the fire was completely extinguished.<br />
<br />
When we went home afterwards, tired and exhausted from all the excitement, we were greeted by the unsightly scene of mice feasting on the foods left on the table. The mice quickly scattered away upon seeing us, giving us no chance to react or even offer a semblance of a fight to run after them. The ghastly incident really shook us hard, and from all indications, much more than the inferno we just came from. Truly, a <a href="http://www.howtogetridofmice.net/mice-extermination/" target="_blank">mice extermination</a> treatment is in order here. I cannot let this incidence pass away just like that. Something has got to be done!<br />
<br />
The number of mice we saw is a clear indication that the mice infestation in our house is very serious already. This is not just a simple case of a mouse accidentally wandering inside our abode. This is a somber case of a fully advanced stage of mice infestation. Situation like this needs serious mice extermination treatment to stop it, dead on its tracks. No "ifs" or "buts" here, the problem must be solved immediately.<br />
<br />
Just as we suspected, the rat infestation was worse already. It is in the advanced stage, so to speak. There are a lot of places where the mice have holed themselves and it truly needs a professional <a href="http://www.howtogetridofmice.net/mice-extermination/" target="_blank">mice extermination</a> team to weed them out and get rid of them. It was a backbreaking process and we surely appreciated the determination and patience exhibited by the pest control team. We could not have done even half of what they have accomplished, even if we tried to. We are glad we called their services in the first place.<br />

One of the most annoying things for any homeowner is to find out that they have pest infestation. First, the pest will cause destruction of properties such as eating your clothes, food, defecating the compound and most of all, they transmit disease. It is important that you take caution to eliminate them. The first thing that you do after a mice infestation is to find ways of elimination or simply, call the extermination company.<br />
<br />
<a href="http://www.howtogetridofmice.net/mice-infestation/" target="_blank">Signs of mice infestation</a><br />
<br />
There are many signs that show you have infestation. First, you notice droppings inside your house or in their path. The droppings are black in color and rod-shaped. You will also notice smears. These are dark grayish marks you see on the surface where they have passed. If you come across nests indoors, you are in trouble. Finally, if you see signs of gnawing in carpets, wood, furniture, cable and pipe, this is a sign of infestation.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj9rPPLLV4y_PA0dSiuFgB8n44WHks-OZV-nxpqqF-euRAYsXbkpnSiOLUIcW74_xV8VYxB0_iPcmMiv3z1l_bdJVaOHUIdWOh7LJjXZ0PfwrTFxNWS59kp3D5UYfM_CDZeCUQuBJajnA/s1600/001.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj9rPPLLV4y_PA0dSiuFgB8n44WHks-OZV-nxpqqF-euRAYsXbkpnSiOLUIcW74_xV8VYxB0_iPcmMiv3z1l_bdJVaOHUIdWOh7LJjXZ0PfwrTFxNWS59kp3D5UYfM_CDZeCUQuBJajnA/s400/001.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<br />
You need to control the mice as failure to do so means they destroy the property by gnawing, get diseases such as listeria and salmonella.<br />
<br />
<b>Glue traps</b><br />
<br />
Another trap you can use and which is most effectively is the glue traps. These are placed along the route used by the mice. When they step on the glue trap, they are immobilized making them unable to move. The pest trapped here expires because of hypothermia. The body temperature is affected and maintained.<br />
<br />
<b>The traditional snap traps</b><br />
<br />
To eliminate any mice infestation, you can do it using several traps. The first thing you can try is the traditional snap traps. These are known as loaded spring bar mousetraps and are available easily. To use these traps, you have to set them along the path where the mice travel. You also need to use baits such as nesting or food. When the mouse triggers the metal bar, it snaps and kills the mice.<br />
<br />
<b>Live-catch traps</b><br />
<br />
Another trap commonly used is the Live-catch traps. It is designed in different ways, and their main purpose is to catch the mice without killing them. People put bait such as food inside, and when the mouse enters to eat, it cannot come out. In most cases, the homeowner releases the mice back to the environment. The only disadvantage of this method is that they might come back to haunt you.<br />
<br />
<b>Electronic killer traps</b><br />
<br />
If the <a href="http://www.howtogetridofmice.net/mice-infestation/" target="_blank">mice infestation</a> is beyond control and you want a quick method, go for the electronic mouse killer traps. The traps use circuit technology to sense the mice presence. When the rodent enters, the electronic trap releases shock in the form of high voltage that kills it within seconds. This can also injure pets and human, and that is why it has a casing to protect. The method works well indoors.<br />
<br />
<b>Rodenticides</b><br />
<br />
Sometimes, the infestation causes destruction of property. A good way to eliminate the infestation is to use Rodenticides. It is a rat poison that helps to kill these pests. They are controversial when used because pets and kids who find them will also eat. You can buy them in shops and drug stores.<br />

<div style="text-align: justify;">
There are a common series of basic steps that experts recommend for dealing with rats in the attic. The first step is to discover the rat's entryway and make it impossible for it to get back inside, which may even take professional help from an exterminator. Once that's finished, you'll need to deal with the rats left inside. There are many different ways to do that, and choosing your own method will depend on your moral stances and other issues. After the rats are gone, many experts recommend taking extra measures to clean up around your property and inside the attic so other rats won't be attracted to the scent of the rats that used to live there.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">

<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
The reason it's common to find rats in the attic is because of a particular breed of rat called the roof rat or black rat. These animals like to live in trees and are prone to climbing. Living in an attic is a relatively natural thing for them, and it has some advantages, including access to human food, safety from predation, and shelter from the weather. Roof rats are very common in hot areas, and are especially known to cause problems in the southeastern part of the United States.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://howtogetridofratsinhouse.blogspot.com/2016/03/how-do-i-get-rid-of-rats-in-attic.html"><img alt="How do I get Rid of Rats in the Attic" border="0" height="480" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhgrcYMLq2MtGru_jgpVqGwiGWKImV2T61HTIK111LtYoLnY9jJuICrUXu5TbGxK1PcfnhGthLnAO-G4Gg8HJTG-V-eqlmX4QQWuAdysI5cdV78lmFwbqqXaNMNCzdZDQDHE6W-sMsLDQ/s640/How+do+I+get+Rid+of+Rats+in+the+Attic.jpg" title="How do I get Rid of Rats in the Attic" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
The type of extermination method used for dealing with rats in the attic will often vary depending on your belief system. Some people are very particular about harming animals in any way, and they might choose to use no-kill traps that capture the rats alive. These rats will generally be transported out into the woods and released. According to experts, this method can work very well.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>

<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
There are also other methods such as poisoning and snap traps, along with some more exotic solutions. Poisoning can be effective, but rats rotting in a person's attic can produce an unpleasant smell, and many people believe that poisons are inhumane. Snap traps are probably the most popular technique because they kill rats instantly and allow the person to dispose of the corpse easily. Most experts recommend snap traps as the most effective method of dealing with rats for those who plan to exterminate them instead of releasing them alive.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
One common piece of advice among experts for dealing with rats in the attic is to beware of re-invasion. Rats have a great sense of smell, and roof rats tend to flock together in big groups. It's very possible that your roof will have a subtle rat smell even after your rat problem is dealt with, so it's considered wise to clean very well to remove any rat residue.</div>

<div style="text-align: justify;">
<a href="http://howtogetridofratsinhouse.blogspot.com/">Rats</a> are very well adapted to various environmental conditions. Because of this adaptation capability, rats can survive in cities as much as they can survive in farms. Unfortunately, this also means that rats will be able to thrive in areas where humans would have wanted to be free from their presence. They will be able to breed incessantly and continue to increase their population until an outbreak happens. Of course, that is a scenario that all property owners should avoid. There are ways to avoid such problems from happening, some of which are:<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://howtogetridofratsinhouse.blogspot.com/2016/03/avoiding-rat-problems.html"><img alt="Rat Problems" border="0" height="398" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhH4M_iyuTQIeGMBdW4jWb3H9ITXhQC25Kve2GTegWLvCeSgLQckpTB1TU3raIbwjhfoeg3U_6piPr1VVW48jqBMaECk9zAdbJ_QpIQkwshO0XBYzYK6_fj2Hv-KyqYDVDtBN2HRAtukQ/s640/rats+problems.jpg" title="Rat Problems" width="640" /></a></div>
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
1. By ensuring that all garbage bins and trash cans are tightly-closed and covered with lids which rats cannot easily remove, the owner of the property will be able to lessen the attractiveness of his/her property to rats because of the "lack" of food (which rats basically get from trash). As much as possible, the owner should keep his/her property free from un-kept rubbish, as well as different piles of items such as wood, boxes and the like. Stacked materials like bricks and wood should not kept elevated from the ground (about 30 centimetres) so that the rats will not use it as a nesting site.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
2. One thing that rats love the most is clutter. They would find dirty and cluttered sheds or storage areas very attractive for nesting. If you do not want to invite rats into your place, you must keep these places clean all the time. Schedule a regular clean-up session for these areas so that you will be able to keep them uninviting to rats. Habitually disposing unwanted items can greatly help in making future clean-up operations easier.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
3. Rats can also use thick vegetation as their nesting ground. Like what has been said about rats, they like to "conceal" themselves from humans and overgrown grasses, plants and trees are very ideal locations.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
4. If you are making compost heaps, avoid using open areas. If possible, use big barrels to keep the compost safe from rats.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
5. Routinely inspect and check your property for cracks and crevices which might have come up so that you can immediately repair them and keep rats from using these openings as entry points to your house/building. Make sure that the water tanks that you use at home are tightly covered too.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<b>Chemical-based <a href="http://www.getridofrats.org/rat-control/">Rat Control</a></b></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Sometimes, the measures stated above are insufficient to completely exterminate the rats in one's property. It is during these instances when the use of chemical products is somewhat justifiable. No other method of rat control has been found out to be more effective that the use of chemical products, thus, despite the fact that these things might harm the environment, many people still opt to use them on grounds of effectiveness. The few things which have to be considered when using such products are:</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
1. The use of chemical products is a short term solution. This means that it can exterminate the current rat population but it cannot stop other rats from coming it. Thus, these products are meant to be used in the onset of the control operation and them immediately followed by the application of the things stated in the early part of this article.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
2. Rodenticides or <a href="http://www.getridofrats.org/shopping-section/">rat poisons</a> can also endanger pets and children. It is important for someone who uses such products to be extra careful in storing the using the product so as not to harm non-target animals and humans.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
3. Because such poisons can also harm other animals, food baits mixed with them should be placed in locations where other animals or children will not be able to reach them. For this reason, it is best if the owner of the property would hire a professional exterminator who knows how to handle the task properly.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">

<div style="text-align: justify;">
The <a href="http://howtogetridofratsinhouse.blogspot.com/">rats</a> and mice basically like to live inside the houses and apartments. Since the civilization is increasing rapidly, more and more buildings are being built up. Thus the farm lands are diminishing to a great extent. As a result the food for rats and mice is also diminishing. Moreover the rats and mice like to live in places where there is excess amount of food items and in places like the house and apartments, these rodents get sufficient amount of food items. In these places these rodents get sufficient shelter from the ferocious predators like the snakes, eagles, hawks, owls etc. These rodents get into the house through the small gaps between the doors and floors, vents and even through the tall pipes. After getting inside the house and apartment the rats and mice use to make many damages. They use to tear and wear off the expensive clothes, fabrics and the leather items. These rodents also destroy the electrical and electronic appliances by wearing off the cables and insulation. Besides these the rats and mice also develop different types of diseases by making infestation in the food items and the cooking utensils.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://howtogetridofratsinhouse.blogspot.com/2016/03/basic-requirements-of-rodent-repellents.html"><img alt="rat repellents" border="0" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhV8qPNQ3npNNP3jtELPEb5AURmENBUyCsSLThszMu_LD80G6GWe3kOYnLZnFHsgTOpLaiy2aDX4ze490mctnsPYyEOh9bJKkq7BgwpcJV6g7mcj-35O8Qhy4ET7MAvOyyN_darkc4X7Q/s640/rat-repellent.jpg" title="rat repellents" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
In order to solve these problems it is very essential to clear rats and to drive away the rats and mice away from the house. To clear rats and to keep rats out of your house, there are different types of rat repellents available in the market. But before buying a wrong <a href="http://www.getridofrats.org/rat-repellent/">rat repellent</a> it is essential to correctly know about the nature and requirements of rodent repellents for rats and mice. Firstly the rat repellents must be free from the toxic and poisonous chemicals which should not cause any sort of harm to rats as well as the humans and pet animals in the house. These rat repellents must not cause any sort of suffocation and other skin problems to the humans as well as the pet animals. These repellents for rats must be made from the eco-friendly natural constituents and must be completely free from toxic chemicals. These repellents must be in liquid form so that it can be easily sprayed into deep corners of the rooms of the house.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
The rat repellents should also not emit any sort of foul smell. It should be capable of being used in house, offices, apartments and go-downs. The fragrance of the repellents for rats must last long so that regular spraying is not required. This <a href="http://www.getridofrats.org/rat-repellent/">type of rat repellents</a> must be basically the repellents to clear rats from the house and must not be the killer of rats. It must simply cause irritation to rats to clear rats from the houses and surroundings. The irritation caused by these rat repellents must be such that the rats and mice should feel as if their predators are around them. On the other hand it should not cause any kind of pollution in the environment. This type of repellents should also require no safety precautions. The repellents for mice and rats must come in small spray bottles so that it can be placed in any part of the house. These repellents should also come at affordable prices in the market.</div>

<h2 style="text-align: center;">
The Best Reasons to Use a Humane Rat Trap</h2>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Nobody likes to have rats and mice running rampant around their house at night. Not only do they bother you, but they can also make you very sick if you don't get rid of them. Rodents will bite small holes in bags of food left out, which can spell trouble for anyone eating. In addition, they like to run around on the kitchen counter and dish drain, looking feasting on crumbs and other leftovers while you are sleeping.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
If you are in this type of situation, you need to get rid of the mice or rats ASAP. While there are many different kinds of traps, only one type doesn't hurt the animals that get caught in them. Some people wonder why you would want to capture rats alive and then let them go again. Well, there are a few reasons why.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
First of all, it can be dangerous to leave things like rat poison or powerful snap traps lying around on the floor when children or pets are present. Rat snap traps are so big and powerful that they can easily break the foot of a child or cat instantly when stepped on by mistake. Rat poison is a different story altogether, and that can cause serious trouble if the wrong animal or even person eats a little of it.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Another reason why humane <a href="http://www.getridofrats.org/rat-traps/">rat traps</a> are a good idea is that some people simply don't like killing animals. While it may be true that they don't belong in the house, that doesn't mean that they can't coexist outdoors in nature with other animals. Rats are pretty smart, and they know very well that houses are a good place to live safely and thrive on food scraps. If you catch them alive, you can then take them far from your house and let them go again.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://howtogetridofratsinhouse.blogspot.com/2016/03/humane-rat-trap.html" target="_blank"><img alt="Humane Rat Trap" border="0" height="426" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhV1B-fB0ENiABeZYAFypTjjaIX5LD8-N4OpzulC8zYt0mPt59h15c1nRUxsDMxYwgD7L_7EeudYnHEZnOcRL6NA6NxxF0qlz5KhNTJF-RwbwJt38n8DeiUuHpg3nHIYw-X2ODl2scsIg/s640/humane-rat-traps.jpg" title="Humane Rat Trap" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Some people are afraid to use a humane <a href="http://www.getridofrats.org/rat-traps/">rat trap</a> because they think that they will somehow have to touch the rat or mouse. The reality is that all you will need to do is set the trap down on the ground, lift open the door from above, and stand back and watch the rat run away. It's as simple as that, and a lot easier than having to remove a dead rat from a snap trap after it has started to decompose. One thing to keep in mind is that you will need to check the trap on a regular basis, preferably daily. This is true with all kinds of traps, since an animal caught inside will die in a couple of days if you don't notice it.</div>

<div style="text-align: justify;">
Living in large apartment communities in the South Eastern United States means that rubbish can build up very easily in stairwells and outside apartment doors especially during summer months. These not only pose as trip hazards but also are breeding grounds for vermin such as <a href="http://www.getridofrats.org/" target="_blank">rats</a> and rodents. I originally come from London, England where there is a common saying that wherever you are in London you are never more than 20 feet away from a rat!</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
That is quite a shocking statement but I would bet the same applies to downtown metro Atlanta communities as well. This is now where I currently live, having moved across the pond several years ago to experience life in the new world. If I ever thought that insects and rodents were big back home, nothing could have prepared me for the bugs and rodents that I saw in my first year just outside of Atlanta!</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://www.getridofrats.org/" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;" target="_blank"><img alt="get rid of rats" border="0" height="216" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhUYhMFjZr2MoKJhdfF1APTK0f3fZCSFVF8nRTXyl8Vp7Wubz6xjPxaOyyDSG_XO3DkMXoB5ryIcFNYNETXdVXFJceoXWjpO58fIyiBW2S1pGTsHTpN6nNMI7GaIS4Kd-KvgWg-BnovZw/s400/Rat+Problems.jpg" title="get rid of rats" width="400" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
There are several things you can do as a caring member of your community complex to ensure that rats are kept at bay, and most of the valuable advice is based on prevention. Firstly get educated. Read up on what attracts rodents into your apartments. Most of the advice is good common sense like ensuring that you don't leave rubbish out in stairwells. You could contact your apartment manager to get clearly labeled posters which let the community know when trash will be collected so they don't build up.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Make sure maintenance staff are aware of any cracks in your property walls and especially look for gaps in brickwork in kitchens as the smell of food will attract vermin and rats into your home. Leaving food out on counters at night can also attract rats and mice. We live in the age of pizza delivery and fast food to our homes and these cardboard containers are a most common sight of rubbish on our streets.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
In days of old, households would have employed a cat to keep rats at bay but now days most cats like mine are indoor cats and would probably either run a mile or even if they caught a rat, wouldn't know what to do with it. Actually, pets can be be in more danger by coming into contact with rats due to the disease and bugs that rats carry such as fleas and bacteria.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Being prepared to implement preventative Rat control measures means taking action before the infestation begins, so this summer get clued up and keep your communities vermin free.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">

<div style="text-align: justify;">
Rats can be very dangerous creatures that may contaminate your food, destroy your property, and even start electrical fires. Plus, rats, their feces, and rat fleas can carry disease, making them an especially risky health hazard. As such, it is very important to <a href="http://www.getridofrats.org/" target="_blank">get rid of rats</a>. Unfortunately, rats can be quite difficult to get rid of as they can inhabit many areas inside and around your home from wood piles, bushes, or trash cans outdoors, to insulation of walls and ceilings, crawl spaces, under cupboards and bathtubs, and near hot water heaters and furnaces.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
If you have spotted signs of rats including droppings; chewed-up siding, insulation, or walls; or evidence of contaminated food, it is time to take action. Rats and mice procreate often so you will need to be vigilant about finding and removing rats from your home. Traps can be an <a href="http://www.getridofrats.org/" target="_blank">excellent method of getting rid of rats</a>; simply bait the traps with dried fruit, peanut butter, or cheese and wait to collect the trapped rats. Experts recommend that you set the traps to right angles near walls where rodents are suspected to inhabit, with the bait side of the trap facing the wall. Always wear gloves and use a plastic bag to dispose of a trapped rodent to prevent the spread of disease.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://howtogetridofratsinhouse.blogspot.com/" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;" target="_blank"><img alt="How to Eliminate Rats" border="0" height="225" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgRbrZndaRUghzh29Jx7tETP_hM77sj0UQoqWgKwjfFqmtf-RzHALDTppdUClj33nLbisLHvwM3F2M9qKLTDTvB31OLpPKLlQpJv70vIC4Z30ZV-iTf-WA8rTmiT7EoiJ7sFlOIlFJ-kg/s400/How+to+Eliminate+Rats.jpg" title="How to Eliminate Rats" width="400" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Usually, it is not advisable to use rat poisons as these are less immediate means of killing rats. A poisoned rat may have time to crawl away before it dies and as such you will not always be able to find it immediately. These dead rats then become breeding grounds for disease and bacteria. Furthermore, rat poisons pose a significant risk to the health of pets, wild animals, and children and therefore should be avoided.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Ultimately, it can be incredibly difficult to clear up a rat infestation. Rats are small and difficult to locate, and because they procreate quickly and frequently, it can be especially challenging to destroy all the rats in your home and yard. While there are some excellent preventative measures to avoid rats, once you have seen the evidence of rats in your home, it is probably best to seek expert professional help. Professional pest control services ensure that rats are safely and completely removed from your home without risking many of the health hazards associated with rats.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<b>Still, here are some expert tips about how to prevent a rat infestation before it starts.</b></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
1. Eliminate food and water sources by storing garbage in secure metal containers, composting in rat-resistant containers, removing fallen fruit and nuts from your yard, and keeping pet food in a secure location.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
2. Eliminate living spaces by planting bushes and shrubs away from your home, removing unused sheds or buildings, and storing firewood or lumber on stands at least 30cm above the ground.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
3. Protect buildings by covering crawl spaces, repairing cracks in cement foundations, and building sheds and garages on concrete slabs.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">

<div style="text-align: justify;">
Mice and rats are pests that can be commonly found in many homes. These pests go from room to room hunting for food, and they like to make their homes inside the nooks and crannies of houses where they can be warm and not be in extreme temperatures, as well as be safe from predators such as snakes, eagles, and hawks.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
These pests can easily get into homes through the tiny holes and vents, and even small cracks in the walls and doors. If they cannot get into the house under the doors or through windows, they will climb up pipes until they find a small hole where they can get through.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Rats and mice are disease carriers. They will leave their waste on food items, utensils, and basically anything and everything they happen to be on. As a result, it becomes easy for anyone in the house to develop diseases. Since rats and mice will go anywhere and everywhere, including drain pipes, garbage bins, and even the filthiest of places, they are extremely dirty.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Mice and <a href="http://www.getridofrats.org/rat-exterminator/">rats need to be exterminated</a> in order to prevent problems like damaged furniture, contaminated food, and diseases. Many rodent control methods exist, and most of them are meant to kill rats and mice. However, they can sometimes have adverse effects on humans and pets such as cats and dogs.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
A lot of the products for rodent control have toxic chemicals that will <a href="http://www.getridofrats.org/rat-infestation/">kill rats</a> and mice, and they can also be harmful to other animals and humans if they are ingested accidentally. Thanks to advancements in science and technology, though, we now have rodent control methods that are completely safe for humans and pet animals yet effective at getting rid of mice and rats.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://www.getridofrats.org/rat-control/"><img alt="Rat Traps" border="0" height="458" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiql_LIDiuttvZbz39QMVUULsn3YyvN5dpEr1AAIu1NCC6JriY3MWq6gR7jp3jDMbjjack4PebbMnln_DwZqNltCcjDDPJJ3yxDe_at8zZqFJMq5PvRAjQAJFMBIvqVL_VkVV3R2-ABFA/s640/Rat+Traps.jpg" title="Rat Traps" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
One good example of the latest rodent control methods is the electronic mouse trap. This mouse trap is a small box that comes with rechargeable batteries, an electronic circuit, and a LED indicator. The entrance of this device is tunnel shaped and there is an outlet at the back. Electronic mouse traps neither uses nor emits toxic chemicals that can pollute the air. You can place this mouse trap in the corners of your home. Place a small piece of bread, butter, or any food item in the tunnel shaped inlet; this will serve as your bait. When a mouse enters the tunnel, it will come into contact the circuit, electrocuting the mouse. You will know if a mouse or rat is dead inside the electronic mouse trap by the blinking of the LED indicator, which is not going to stop blinking until you empty the trap. The best product on the market for this type is the Rat Zapper Ultra.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Then there are the traps that catch live mice. These traps let you get rid of the mouse and rat infestation in your home minus the gory blood. These traps do not kill the mice and rats, and they certainly will not pose any threat to your pets or even small kids since there are not any springs or metal rods that snap. Instead, this modern rodent control method is an transparent box that has an opening on top. You place a bait inside this box, attracting rats and mice to climb up and inside the box. Once a rat or mouse is inside, it will not be able to get out. You can easily dispose of the mouse somewhere far away.</div>

<div style="text-align: justify;">
Rats are made to look cute and cuddly in the pet store. They often play a heroic and endearing role in the movies, offering quite a false perspective.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
In truth, rat infestation poses health risks, as well as compromises your home structure and aesthetics. There are several ways to "rat proof" your Arizona property, <a href="http://www.getridofrats.org/how-to-catch-a-rat-best-tips-to-trap-rats/" target="_blank">trap and exterminate roof rats that present problems</a>. The best course of action is through preventative measures against rats with effective rat control.</div>

<div style="text-align: justify;">
In terms of the rat family, roof rats, or black rats, are known to be an incredible nuisance in AZ, as well as several other U.S. states. They prefer the warm Arizona climate, reproduce rapidly and carry so many diseases a small pamphlet would be necessary to offer a complete list. They are fairly inactive during the day and incredibly active at night --making them difficult to fight.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
A roof rat problem starts when these critters find ways into your Arizona home through small spaces, rooflines, pipes and vents. They often nest in attics, brush, cacti, shrubs and trees. Rats are known to chew through wiring, plumbing and even interior insulation, creating hazards beyond the realm of health and hygiene. This type of rat infestation can lead to problems of great expense, as well as the presence of other predator pests looking for the lower member of the food chain.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<b>Combating Roof Rat Problems</b></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
There are several effective ways to fight a roof rat problem. By enlisting effective rat control measures, rat infestation can be avoided completely. Here are a few things to consider for keeping your Arizona home or commercial property free of a roof rat problem:</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Arizona rat control can be as simple as keeping all food contained. This is especially true for pet food that is left in open bags or containers. Rats not only have a keen sense of smell, but love to feast on dog and cat food, while also using it to nurture their frequent litters.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Seal all sources of entry to your home to ensure effective rat control in Arizona. Be sure that all building seals are functional, and that any repairs needed around rooflines or on the roof are done effectively. Most Arizona residents are shocked to learn of the small space that can invite rat infestation.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Taking care of your lawn is one of the <a href="http://www.getridofrats.org/how-to-catch-a-rat-best-tips-to-trap-rats/" target="_blank">best methods of rat control</a> in Arizona. Excess brush, poorly maintained shrubbery and cacti are breeding grounds for roof rats and other small rodents.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Though roof rats are quite common in Arizona, they don't have to become a problem for a house or commercial property. If there is an existing rat infestation, it is recommended to contact professionals in order to rid an establishment of the problem. Qualified Arizona rat control specialists can also prevent rat infestation from reoccurring through preventative measures and a plan of progressive action.</div>

<div style="text-align: justify;">
Rats are known to spread life threatening diseases as well as for causing structural damage in the areas they infest. Rat poison is one of the several methods to control rodents.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Rat poisons are substances used to <a href="http://www.getridofrats.org/rat-exterminator/">kill rats</a> and other rodents. These come under the category of pest control chemicals. These can be gotten from most hardware stores, grocery stores, and even for free from recognized agencies in some areas. <a href="http://www.getridofrats.org/rat-control/">Rat poisons</a> are not environmentally safe. They are not only poisonous to rats, but also toxic to animals and humans. There are several types of rodenticides available. They have a wide variety of active ingredients, but they require training and experience to apply safely and effectively.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Rat poisons can be broken down into three general groups. These are anticoagulants (warfarin, brodifacoum); bromethalin, a neurotoxin; and cholecalciferol-containing rodenticides. The anticoagulant rodenticides are the most common available in the market with trade names like warfarin, fumarin, diphacinone and bromadiolone. The mechanism of the anticoagulant rodenticides is to deplete vitamin K, which is required for normal blood clotting.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://howtogetridofratsinhouse.blogspot.com/2016/01/rat-poison.html"><img alt="Rat Poison" border="0" height="211" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgpSmKoDdtt-yP4BaSgADe8jalqFvGsxE0STbV2ixdPDMXbEWxbMsthQoBSU0E16UDFaJM5DKEr2f4iBd1XJmmQUga82zAvWszr-AjmeTt0uPwJs-yZOhuHSLgposZlPKsfU9nVaCXXsQ/s400/Rat+Poison.jpg" title="Rat Poison" width="400" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Bromethalin is a new non-anticoagulant designed to be fatal to rodents after a single dose. Bromethalin is a neurotoxin that directly affects the brain and cerebrospinal fluid. Clinical signs associated with ingestion of bromethalin appear about 10 hours post-ingestion and include severe muscle tremors, excitability, running fits, seizures and depression. This is a safer rodenticide for use where dogs are present.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
The last category of rodenticide contains cholecalciferol or vitamin D. These rodenticides act by causing vitamin D toxicosis, raising serum calcium levels to dangerously high levels. Clinical signs arise within 18 to 36 hours after ingestion, and include depression, anorexia, increased urination and increased water intake. Heart conduction becomes slow and it may result in ventricular fibrillation and cardiac arrest.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
If rat poisons are not properly applied, they can kill or otherwise endanger children, pets and other animals. So it is advisable to hire a licensed pesticide applicator well versed in rodent control to apply them.</div>

<div style="text-align: justify;">
People like to head inside during the chilly winter season because they want the warmth and security that a house offers. Unfortunately, so do rats. Wintertime is one of the peak seasons for pack rat and roof rat infestation. Once you understand why infestation can be so much worse during winter, you will understand the need for a professional Arizona <a href="http://www.getridofrats.org/rat-control/" target="_blank">rat control</a> company to eliminate the problem.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<b>Rat Control -- Rats Look for Warmth During Wintertime</b></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
The most obvious reason that infestation reaches a peak during the winter concerns the fact that they tend to seek shelter indoors to avoid the colder temperatures. In the absence of man-made dwellings, they will simply build thick nests to protect from the cold. From the rat's perspective, though, he would be a fool not to take advantage of our temperature-controlled homes and thick insulation.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://www.getridofrats.org/rat-control/" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;" target="_blank"><img alt="Rat Problems" border="0" height="216" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEicXCWYFKPT4SKIobGWnafxQ2mwe8MNV1rBxWhZwUTbg45M0AmRvVfzzhvF85M_0ENUvwvc-Z-DstrBKrjHujEO_QiFK9IE9LxOh0sn02J2087dBkBrBSGaM2XDwiXEVM_ftJSIbHORXw/s400/Rat+Problems.jpg" title="Rat Problems" width="400" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Roof rat infestation often starts when the rodents enter houses looking for a good place to build nests. Once they are inside a roof, they find the best insulation material for their nests. Naturally, they stick around and raise their families, where they can stay warm during the winter. This is a great stroke of luck from the rat's point-of-view. We, though, know that infestation often lead to disease and property damage.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<b>Rat Control Problems -- Rats Look for Food during Wintertime</b></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Roof rat and pack <a href="http://www.getridofrats.org/rat-infestation/" target="_blank">rat infestation</a> also happens more often during winter because the rodents are looking for a reliable source of food. Winter presents some real difficulties for wild animals. Rapidly falling temperatures mean that food sources become more scarce. Pack rat and roof rat infestation can happen as easily as the discovery of trash bins outside of your home. It does not take them long to realize that they can go directly to the source by finding a way into your house.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
For the rats, this solves one of the biggest problems facing the animal kingdom -- starvation. For you, though, it creates a dangerous Arizona rat control problem. No one wants to open up the pantry to find containers that have been chewed by potentially diseased rodents, along with the droppings they often leave behind in your cereals, pastas, beans and other foods.</div>

<div style="text-align: justify;">
Do you need a cat to <a href="http://www.getridofrats.org/">catch those rats</a> around your house, but you do not want the cat to drag them into the house to eat them or to display them to you so you know they are doing their hunting job? New RoboCat Rat Zapper is almost here! If you do not have a cat then your rats will multiply and cause you problems, but if you buy a cat, that means another pet or animal to look after. Cats make great pets but they are also expensive to feed. If you spend $10.00 per week on cat food, cat litter and toys for a couple of cats then you are paying about $520.00 per year on your pet to catch and eat those rats.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
You will also have to deal with the smell, damage to sofa, cat hair and a pet that you just know will not listen but rather take over the household and do what ever it damn well pleases. In fact if you tell them to <a href="http://www.getridofrats.org/">kill the rats</a> they will just look at you like you are a stupid human (no comment) and roll back over and go to sleep.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEizxBngBtHa9D0JzEVI7pBAfaX5cj5qt5O7fkwa2tIPc9EwGpObwILLotX2vHtyxRYQj1n-gJgeCTwmxqj58Hhq0VfoqxWqMyjsvRSj9O4xkfPYvBigKFU35JxZSciO6BOs5iWhBN0geA/s1600/kill+rats.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img alt="kill rats" border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEizxBngBtHa9D0JzEVI7pBAfaX5cj5qt5O7fkwa2tIPc9EwGpObwILLotX2vHtyxRYQj1n-gJgeCTwmxqj58Hhq0VfoqxWqMyjsvRSj9O4xkfPYvBigKFU35JxZSciO6BOs5iWhBN0geA/s1600/kill+rats.jpg" title="kill rat" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Now then, I propose you lease a new RoboCat, equipped with a high-powered stun gun. It will recharge and plug into the wall at night and hunt those rats all day. The AttackCat system, which is an up grade can be leased for $35.00 per week, which is a cost savings over the real organic model. It will purr and do all those other things, but it does not smell, actually farts out fragrance in those parts of the house it senses unfortunate smelly ordors. There are six fragrances to choose from.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Some consumers are even setting up RoboCat Co-ops and share these cat with others while on vacation, similar to a four-legged Time Share. You and your whole neighborhood can prevent the spread of disease with a few RoboCats in your neighborhood. Think of it as a organic replica run neighborhood watch program?</div>

<div style="text-align: justify;">
<a href="http://www.getridofrats.org/">Catching a rat</a> is very similar to catching a mouse. The only difference is that it may take you a little longer to catch a rat because they are smart creatures and will not jump on the first sight of food or water, like mice will. The most popular rat removal method is an <a href="http://www.getridofrats.org/how-to-catch-a-rat-best-tips-to-trap-rats/" target="_blank">electronic rat trap</a>, which you can get for less than $50. Snap and glue traps often do not trap the rat fully. Although they are cheap and can get the job done, many complain that it's too much of a hassle to deal with half-dead rodents.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Humane rat traps, which allow you to dispose of the pests away from your home, cost around $25. Because of their size, humane rat traps can also be used for animals such as squirrels, groundhogs, and skunks. Once you place a rat trap, try to keep it in one location because rats are sensitive to moved surroundings.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://howtogetridofratsinhouse.blogspot.com/2016/01/how-to-eliminate-rats.html"><img alt="How to Eliminate Rats" border="0" height="234" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEidrjcKs4olKQfCieiWkU07MypWwO2r5unn529wXFvttp3Bu8YTolMgbFzbu4CyDmkc-L8oQXDk1oU9K9yyoHjGk42P7sq35Na4PV1B_l5ZSu9xjiAekTDa046j5tCokdocUy0qmnk3aw/s640/How+to+Eliminate+Rats.jpg" title="How to Eliminate Rats" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
In order to get the rodent in the trap, use a tantalizing trail of peanut butter. Although you can use virtually anything as bait (fruit, chocolate, etc.), peanut butter works best because it can stay fresh for several days and cannot be easily moved. For some types of traps, peanut butter doesn't work well because the rats can lick it clean, without activating the trap. If you stumble upon this problem, simply place some floss within the peanut butter. This way, the only way the rat can take all of the peanut butter is by moving the trap mechanism.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Although there are poison bait products available, they are not recommended because they can leave you with rotting mice in hard to reach places around your home. If the rat does not stay in the trap with the poisoned bait, and goes somewhere else, you can have a dead rat somewhere, without knowing exactly where it is.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Once you've <a href="http://www.getridofrats.org/blog/" target="_blank">gotten rid of rats</a> in your home. It's time to make sure that they never come back. Seal off any holes that you have on the outside of your house. Rats love basements and attics, so make sure that you inspect those two areas thoroughly. Cement, with metal shavings works well. It will also help if the outside surface of the plugged hole is smooth, so that the rats do not have anything to hold on to if they attempt to gnaw through the hole again. Make sure that the outside of your house is free of debris (which the rats can use as shelter), food (seal off your garbage in containers), and water (leave your pooch's water bowl inside).</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
When dealing with rats, always wear gloves and make sure to wash your hands after dealing with them. They can carry disease, which can get you sick. To clean up rat droppings and/or urine, wear gloves and a protective mask. Sweep up the dropping with a broom and dispose of them in a plastic bag. Finally use an enzyme based cleaning product to sanitize the area.</div>

<div style="text-align: justify;">
If you have furry little invaders living in your house uninvited, it's time to get serious about <a href="http://www.getridofrats.org/rat-control/" target="_blank">Rat Control</a>. Here are some proven methods that work to keep them from coming in and to get rid of them when they do.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<b>The Best Type of Control Is Prevention</b></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
First of all, let's talk about prevention. The <a href="http://www.getridofrats.org/">best way to get rid of rats</a>, mice, snakes and other nasty critters is to make your house the kind of place they wouldn't like. The best way to do this is to make sure that it's clean. It's true that cockroaches and mice are basically a sign of a house that's not properly kept clean. Make a little more effort to keep things clean and straightened. Of course, if you live in an older house, this might not do the trick.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">

<div style="text-align: justify;">
The main thing to watch out about is food. Make sure that food is always securely stored so that they have no way of getting to it. Use Tupperware and zip lock bags that will keep them from smelling it. Food is almost always the thing that attracts pests.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Another precaution that will help you with rodent control is to make sure that the trash is always secured. If the trash area around your apartment or house is a great spot for picking up leftovers, the rats will spread word quickly. Invest in a protected trash area and make sure that they can't get to it.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<b>Getting Rid of Critters</b></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
If you've already got a problem, you should start with finding out how they're getting into the house. Look for gaps in walls, open ventilators or areas of piping that allow them to enter the house. Sometimes you're lucky enough to find mouse poo somewhere, and you can just follow it to the source. In any case, there must be some place where they're entering. A good first step is to find these areas and seal them up.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
The traditional <a href="http://www.getridofrats.org/rat-control/">rodent control method</a> is to set traps. These sometimes work well, but other times they don't seem to do anything. The mice may be smarter than you think, or it might be that they've found something tastier in a cabinet than the cheese in the trap. It's an option worth trying when you've got critters coming in.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Another way to do your own rodent control is to use sprays and poisons. The only problem with these is that they're also poisonous to human beings and everything else in the animal kingdom. Basically, they're not completely safe no matter how closely you follow directions. Instead, you can buy eco-friendly, non-toxic sprays. If you're going to go the spray route, this is much safer.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
You can also get electrical equipment that takes care of rodents for you. They make "sonic repellents" that emit frequencies that certain fuzzy house intruders hate to hear, and this makes them pass your house up for the neighbors'.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
If you really want rodent control that works, the best option is always to contact a professional. They've got the little critters out-gunned with just the right tools. If your problem is really severe, give them a call and they'll clear it up for you.</div>

for <a href="http://www.getridofrats.org/" title="rats problem">rat problems</a> but if you also have a recycling bin which you fill with
containers and other recyclable items you may encounter wild rats. Rats have
extremely sharp teeth and could easily gnaw through a plastic bin to get to the

for a rat as they can make a path between your garbage cans for food and your
recycle cans for shelter.<o:p></o:p></span></div>

<span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: "times new roman" , serif; font-size: 13.5pt;">Once born, the wild rats reach their
maturity with eight weeks and then will begin breeding themselves. As you can
see, after not so long you may have a very large rat problem. Many would
recommend you call a professional exterminator when dealing with a large rat
problem, this is because not many homeowners enjoy killing animals; let alone
when there is more than about five.<o:p></o:p></span></div>

<span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: "times new roman" , serif; font-size: 13.5pt;">Also, rodents are extremely clever and it
will take time for the animal to accustom to the rat trap. It’s not as simple
as them just taking the bait and getting caught. A professional exterminator
would kill the whole population of rats causing the rat problem and not only that,
would dispose of each one in a sanitary matter too meaning none of their
infections can be passed onto you and your family.<o:p></o:p></span><br />
